I think it's recommended you use them to make sure you get your daily calcium/fibre intake, not sure what difference it makes with regard to weight loss tho :)
I have wondered about this too. Sometimes my meals just dont go to plan and I forget to have one of my healthy b's. Does this mean that I have consumed less syns that day?
SW recommends you have 2 B's and 1 or 2 A's and at least 5sync a day, this is built into the diet plan. I doubt the odd day would hurt, you would by the fact you haven't had your B of had less sync, as B and A's both have sync values. i hope this answers your question, i find it hard to keep within the 2 A's and 2 B's lol
