Hello - I'm new

#1
Hello,
This is my first post here, although certainly not my first time at trying to lose weight.
I have had various successes over the last few years, my first WW journey saw me go from 14stone to 12stone 6lbs (only 5lbs away from my goal weight) unfortunately for events to lead me to put it all back on and a bit more.
The last ten years seem to have seen me yo-yoing between dress sizes, with each heaviest weight being a heavier size than before.
I am currently weighing in at 14 1/2 stone (from my heaviest of 15 1/2 stone) and I am getting there slowly, but I am getting married in 7 months and want my wedding photos to be something I am proud of and not something I want to hide away in a drawer.
So here I am, hoping for a bit of support and some welcome distraction from all the foods that I want to eat and know that I shouldn't.
Phew, bit of a ramble there - anyway, hope you're still with me ..

Hi there H. Are you going back to WW or are you looking for a different plan? I am a SWer.

Your wedding photo's WILL be something you will be proud of whether you lose weight or not x

Hi,
Thank you for your kind words about the wedding photos.
At the moment I am following the Pete Cohen Plan, I saw him talk at the Vitality Show last year; which is more of a eat slowly and stop when you are full than counting the points, which is a bit of a change in mindset. I am getting better at stopping when I am full (and the eating slower bit) but it certainly isn't something that comes naturally. I am hoping that this means when I get to goal weight I will stay the same size and won't have that yo-yo effect.
how are you finding the SW plan - do you find it easy to follow?
