    I'm starting Xenical tomorrow and thought I'd come on here & introduce myself.
    I've tried Lipotrim but found it too demanding & the lack of exercise was restrictive.
    Anyway, I plan to use the tablets in conjunction with Slimming World.
    I was just wondering how much exercise everyone took and how long before they tried? I have 8st to lose & I'm not sure whether to get some weight off first or dive right in!!

    Hi there and welcome to the Xenical family :D There's a few peeps that use Xenical alongside Slimming World. As for exercise there is nothing to stop you really. The first year of being on the tabs I had a gym referral from my GP and I was at the gym at least 3 times a week, as well as going swimming :) The gym referral was only for a year, and unfortunately I had to give up my gym membership when finances got tighter. Most of my exercise just now is power walking, free and easy to do :D

    Hi, Louise and welcome. Good luck with the start tomorrow, as Ali says, any questions just ask. Most of my exercise is walking too and it's free! I don't do slimming world but there are plenty on here who do.

    Thank you for your prompt response.
    Doc tried sending me on gym referral but it's only during the day here & you end up paying more than a standard gym membership. I wasn't impressed lol.
    I've got a wii fit & a dog do I might try building some level of fitness initially before embarassing myself at the gym!

    A newbie here too, I started today :) I am just trying to cut back and not eat much fat at all, the hardest part will be giving up the cakes and chocolate for me but my health is more important.

    I have also got a Wii fit but am usually too lazy to get on it (that will have to change) and a massive Labrador to walk, I got some Fit Flops for my birthday and for once I actually enjoy walking now as I think when your overweight all exercise feels like too much effort, the Fit Flops are great though I would recommend them, they tone your legs and bum apparently :) cheaper than the gym
