Hi Anna, all the best for your first meeting.

I would suggest, taking in everything your consultant tells you, read the booklets they give you thoroughly, and then, any questions, you have the lovely ladies (and gents) of minimins to help you out, it's great here for picking up tips and recipes x

Hi and welcome. A good tip is to write everything you eat down, keep variety to your meals, drink plenty and really fill up on free foods. You will be just fine and we are all here for you if you have any questions. xx

Hi, welcome to the SW corner of the forum. It does sound complicated until your consultant goes through it all but then it is actually pretty straight forward x

I found it complicated to start with, but read your books and write everything down that you eat and you'll soon get the hang of it. It's so nice being able to actually eat when you're hungry and you don't feel deprived like a lot of other diets.

Thank you everyone for your support :)

I made it to the meeting & I have no idea what I was so worried about! I was impressed with how positive it was, even those who had gained weight were applauded for their weight loss to date & then asked if they needed any help/knew why they had gained etc, all in a very upbeat & positive way.

I've now got all the books to read through & I need to work out what I'm going to eat tomorrow.

I'm feeling fairly optimistic about it all :)

Sorry, I meant to post that on my diary thread so it's going to be repeated... Not that I don't appreciate all your messages of support here as well, you have made me feel very welcome, thank you!
