    :) Hi everyone , another newbie here , been reading through the forum for a couple of days and i really love the support you all give one another so decided to sign up, im 37 soon and my aim is to get to my ideal weight by summer next year as im getting married, my start weight was 19 stone and i am now 14 stone, its taken me a year to get to this stage but i now seem to be stuck at that weight despite sticking to my diet and fitness plan, i am doing it myself as i never found a diet club that suited me, ive bought a multi gym and cross trainer started swimming and walking , but im just getting so down at the minute because the weight loss has slowed to snail pace, so anyway thought i would join you guys and try and keep myself motivated

    Losing 5st is a bloody great achievement so far!
    We'll all try our best to help you stay motivated - try not to worry about weight slowing. If you are gym-ing it it could just be muscle mass. Maybe keep an eye on your measurements as well as your weight if you aint already doing so!

    Hello and welcome. You have done fantastically well. Unfortunately these blooming plateaus do happen, just try and kepe motivated - the weight will shift again. In the past I have found that eating 4 smaller meals a day has helped me to break through a plateau.
