Help - 810 & courgette? (Food mentioned)

Hi Guys,

I'm 810 at the mo and fancy making/cooking courgette? But havent got a clue how to cook it?

Also I really fancy doing some roast veg but not sure how to do this for 810 (ie no oil)

Can anyone help?

Or has anyone got any ideas for 810 meals? (I've just been having tuna salads or Chicken and broccoli and asparagus).

Hi, you can raost the veg on a baking tray with no oil or I have read that some people use the 1kcal spray oil you can get. You can dry fry the courgette like a stir fry with your chicken and other veg or you can roast that too.

There is a great 810 recipe thread at the top of the cambridge forum section and there are some lovley recipes on there. Good luck xx

I Use a Julienne peeler and 'shred my courgette, so that it looks like pasta. I cook it by placing it in boiling water for about 3-4 minutes until it's hot!
I usually have it with spicy minced chicken with green peppers and mushrooms. I can pretend it's Spag bol then!

That's sounds like such a good idea... I'll deffo be doing that when I get onto a plan where I can reintroduce food..
