Hi

I started CD last week and had to stop after 4 days as i was called in to have an operation on my varicose vein!

I was only a outpatient and wasnt put under anaestetic.
Spoketo my counsellor yesterday and she said when you have an operation i cant do CD for 4 months!!

IS THIS CORRECT?

Even though it wasnt a major op? And i came home after 2 hours?

please someone i you can let me know im feeling a bit gutted now?!!:cry::cry:

The rule on Cambridge is that you must wait 3 months after an operation.

BUT get your counsellor to call Gill Walshaw the medical officer at HQ with your specific set of circumstances and see whether Gill is happy for you to start sooner.

I guess the problem with something like this is being told you can't do Cambridge if you've had an operation but not being told the reasons behind the decision.

Can anyone provide a valid explanation for not being able to go on CD after surgery? Say you'd had surgery on a broken foot - how would this be affected by being on the diet?
