Help, help help!!!

Hi peeps, I'm struggling to work out the syn value for the following item: Asda Chosen by You 50% less fat garlic and herb reduced fat baguette....... It's from the chilled section, the nutritional info is:

1038kj
246 kcal
7.4g protein
40.8g carbs
5.9g fat
2.9 fibre

This is per 100g serving and there are 2 baguettes in a pack at 420g....... I've tried working it out for one baguette and it's ridiculously high!!!! I wouldn't mind but my boyfriend ate the majority and I had two tiny slices but I'm now panicking as it seems so high! I've done a brand search and it comes up with the frozen baguette which is only 7.5 syns and not even reduced fat!!!!

Totally confused plus peeved because I maintained tonight at weigh in :-( any advice/answers/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks :) Xxxxx

420g works out as = 12½ Syns per package/portion on Extra Easy

I agree - at 246 calories per 100g it's a simple matter of 1 syn for every 20 calories so 12.5 syns per 100g. If each baguette is 210g then you are talking about more than 25 syns each

Looks like the syn calculator is wrong because i put the details in the calculator correctly! I did it 3 times as i was surprised!

Those values are per 100g and the package is 420g. You need to tick the top left button "per 100g" and also tell the botton right box "Package/portion size' it is 420g.

You've either calculated those numbers as being for the whole portion rather than per 100g (ie ticked the right hand button rather than the left) - or you've told it the portion size (bottom right hand box) is 100g rather than 420g.

The syns are 12½ Syns for 100g and 50½ Syns for the whole 420g. I've just typed it in and it's all coming out correctly.
