OK, quick background. Have lost 25lbs since Jan 4th, ideally want to loose another 5.5lbs to get me to goal, preferably before I go on holiday. Generally I am quite strict with myself, over the past 5 months I have only slipped up a couple of times. I am finding this last half stone tough going and it's taking quite a while to loose (for example, I've gained and lost the same 0.5lbs for the last two weeks ).
The thing is that I am FAST loosing motivation. I feel really good about myself and my body and I guess it's making me wonder why I'm still killing myself to loose more (I do lots of exercise too). I'm beginning to get tempted by things that haven't turned my head for months, I found myself staring at a load of caramel slices in the supermarket and tomorrow I have a birthday party which I would normally drive to and be careful with food but I am SO tempted just to say sod it and eat and drink what I want.
Now of course the simple thing would be to say for me to call target and try and maintain now so that I could have a bit more freedom. But I really wanted to keep going till my holiday so that I have a bit more loss to play with (i.e. I'm not going to stick to a diet on holiday and I will probably gain some!) and I don't want my husband to give up which he will if I'm not doing it, my motivation is what keeps him on the straight and narrow and he has at least another 1.5 stone to go.
So how can I keep my motivation going just a little bit longer until my holiday?????! I was a binge eater before and have managed to suppress the urges up until now but I don't know how much longer I can do it!
