Help me decide

#1
HELP!! My biggest problem is i can never make a decision and stick with it. Ive done SW, Slimfast, South Beach, Cambridge and the latest one is Atkins. No problem with losing weight on any of them. They all work i just dont stick to anything long enough to make a big difference, then i cheat, panic and look for a new quick fix. I want and need to lose weight and i want to start tomorrow. But which diet do i do?? My head is telling me to go on a long term healthy way of eating but the voice in my ear says hols in 6 weeks so fad diet again. Please help!!

Hi Lin, You certainly have done the rounds - so to speak! Never mind.. Good that you are trying to get back to the old weight loss prog whatever it turns out to be.
It seems to me just going thro' some of your threads, that you get soo uptight about everything. A calm and relaxed attitude is such a great help for your body to start dropping off the pounds. I have always found that the minute I start getting stressed out about something then I will hit a plateau.
Perhaps the answer lies more in the fact that you/we are not able to do 100% of anything ALL the time, that's human nature, so when a blip comes along just use it as a little "time out" or "a treat" and get back to your prog a.s.a.p. Most things can be utilised into the rest of the daily regime so why worry.
And just in case you may notice that my weight loss has been a bit iffy lately, the reason is between some ill health and about to go on a journey that is quite an ordeal for me.

Take care and all the very best to you...:)

Thanks. Yes you're right but i just get so frustrated with myself. Know what i want and how to do it. Think things in the past have made me lose confidence and faith in myself. Think i'm gonna go back on SW and do it the healthy way. Good luck and hope things go well for you x

kindred spirits

reading your post is like reading my own, i do the exact same thing, start a diet, lose a few, then get fed up/bored/want faster results, then cheat, then cry when i see the scales, then scour everywhere for the latest quick fix/fad diet, hence why i joined here a few days ago.
if you get any answers on how to stop this, please let me know x x and good luck xx

Had a good old think about things and decided quick fixes are really not helping me and i need a long term healthy eating plan so been back and rejoine SW. Pretty sure i've done the right thing. What are you planning on doing? What we like??
