Help me?????

Hello fellow slimmers,

I am looking for some advice, I am currently on the Cambridge Diet and my weight loss has been great, so why am I here??? I'm bored senseless if the 3 shakes and I don't know how much longer I can go on.

How do you all find S&S? I'm worried about the weight loss not being as good if i transfer. Can anyone give me any advice on the food and weight loss? I'd be extremely grateful!

Lian

Morning... I personally think s&s is great! Lots of variety.. Just say eating my oatmeal now! The weight loss is good... I've lost 32.5lbs in 7 weeks which I'm pleased with.. I have 3 shakes/meals/bars a day plus a proper meal of 200g veg and 100g protein... I did Cambridge very briefly a few years ago and I much prefer the s&s stuff..

Hello I agree with cheeky. I did Cambridge 2 years ago and I lost 3 stone and was happy on it but I didn't know about any others at the time. But I'm now on slim and save and having 4 eating times instead of 3 is much better when it comes to spacing out the packs. The list of veggies (and the amount!) you can have is by far better. I was struggling on CD with black coffee and water whereas on s+s you can have Ribena plus, coke zero and I can add milk to my drinks so I'm finding it much much easier to stick to.
Now for the nitty gritty... I'm on week 6 now and have lost 26lbs so far. :) I looked over my Cambridge booklet and once the initial 2 weeks of wow wee weight loss I tended to lose 3lbs a week. But had a few wobbles due to the strictness. Then closer to goal it slowed right down. I'm losing the same on s+s - 8lbs,6lbs,2lbs,5lbs,3lbs and I reckon it'll be settling around the 3lbs mark soon now the initial bulk has shifted so to speak. I personally find it easier to stick to due to variety.
I only used my Cambridge lady to weigh me and chat about my wedding(!!) The only 'psychological' help I received was when I lost 3 stone and she made me pick up 3 crates of the tetra cartons which weighed that and showed me my physical loss.
She was lovely, don't get me wrong! But I didn't need the support.
I hope you can find what is best for you. Feel free to ask any questions on here, everyone's lovely xx

Ladies thank you both so very much! I think I will give Cambridge a month and ten try S&S. I'm struggling with how strict it is and the plain water is killing me :-(.

Thank you again so much and hugely well done with your weight loss!

Lian xx

Hi Lian,

I'm the same as Sammy - a cambridge defector. I echo what she says. My losses have also been similar on both plans. The variety definately makes it's easier to stick to longer term. I'm a night time eater and was climbing the walls on Cambridge cause by night time I'd had my 3 packs.
Also, think of all the lovely clothes you can treat yourself to with the money you save each month :)
