HELP NEEDED ASAP

I have a recipe I want to make - it uses sugar (150g) .... I want to replace this with granulated sweetner - the sweetner weighs less so should I use 75g of sweetner to replace the 150g sugar or how much should I use?
 
not sure what recipe is but can you not add 75g sugar.. then do taste test until you feel taste similar?
 
If you take a look at the splenda website it gives equivalents for when baking with sweetener. I imagine it will be similar even if not using splenda itself.
 
it should say on yoru sweetner how to convert it for recipes. or you just use the same volume, not weight
 
I weighed out 1 cup sugar and it weighed 206g
I weighed out 1 cup sweetner and it weighed 16g

I needed 150g sugar so worked out by above reasoning I should need 12g sweetner - going to try this tomorrow

Making LEMON SORBET by the way
