Help needed please!!!

Oh just coming back to this web site as need some inspiration to keep on track - I have been doing SW since Feb 2011 (started back 2 weeks after the birth of my 2nd son). I have lost 1st 7lbs. But have added up my total weight loss which is more like 3 St! Why can't I stick to it, its driving me mad. Thought about giving up so many times but only want to lose another 1st 7lbs and will be at target. Anyone esle felt this way. My best just doesn't seem to be good enough and the further along I get the more I am disheartned and want to eat crap!:sigh:
 
hi browsie, congrats on your weight loss so far , and also being a mum, thats great you have been doing so well ,stop beating yourself up,
we all want to go of and eat somthing we shouldnt , but why not do damage limitation, what is it you want to eat , why not say ok today i am going to eat what ever i want , anything , then get it out of your system , and go straight back to basics , and start again and stick to it ( sin some treats so you dont feel deprived, and get to your target , ( i am speaking from experience , my heaviest was 21 stone!! now im 16.13 and going down , weigh in again tomorow , hang in there , do a online hour shop look at all the clothes and stuff you can wear when your are a target, save pictures and look at them when your tempted ,
you are doing it for you !! and yes you can succeed! and then you can be an even more amazing you !! best of luck
 
Browsie im exactly the same. I just want to eat crap all the time, especially cake!

I started in sep at 16st 4lbs when i ordered my wedding dress and in feb got down to 13st 6. Ive put so much back on and im now 14st 12lbs.

My wedding is in 6 weeks and i need some motivation :-( and then we are going to florida on honeymoon and trying for a baby so i want go loose as much as i can, because being overweight and pregnant last time was awful.

i need a SW buddy to keep me going if you fancy it?
 
Hi Woo69 thanks for the support - I start off the day really good then just find myself stuffing all sorts in my mouth in the evening and spoiling it all. Then I think well thats the week gone then - I'll give my self this week then start again after weigh in. But then it all starts again!!

Princess Nicky yes please I'm sure we can help each other through. You've got so much to do it for (although sometimes I think the pressure can be a bad thing!). Do you go to the classes? I get weighed on Wed in the morning. Lets do this together! Hour by hour. I'm trying to start being 100% today which is a little hard cause I know when I get weighed on Wed I'll have put on but if I don't then it'll be another couple of days of binging!!

So lets start NOW!!!!!
 
I dont go to classes as all the one in my town are terrible! All of the consultants give no motivation and support, and one didnt even know spagetti was free on a green day!

How old are you and where are you from? Im 25 and live in Bath.

Ive been really good today so far...green day so i had weetabix and milk (A+B), pasta with sauce (3syns) and cheese (B), apple, pink and white (2.5syns), and tea will be mash, beans, peas and a linda mcartney sausage (2syns). That if i can resist the bakery when i pick my OH up soon!

Its a shame that the classes near you aren't very good - moved class last yr to a much better cons who is very motivating. I'm 35 (feel old now!) and live in Sheffield. Got 2 boys 4 yrs and 18 months.

I'm having a green day today - toast (HEXB) with scrambled egg and tom sauce (1 syn) for brekkie. Then a banana and apple then jacket pot with chilli from the canteen (not sure how many syns this would be need to check) and side salad. Just had some olives (2 syns for 16) Having 2 quorn sauage (1 syn) mash and veg with gravey (2 1/2 syns I think) - night time is my danger but got a HEXB so going to wait till kids in bed and have 2 Hifi (the light ones) with a cuppa and Mr Grey!

Feeling good cause I managed to resisit the chocs I brought in for my birthday last wk - its an office tradition. Made sure I put them on a desk where I couldn't see them! If I can do it so can you. Lets make a pact to stick to it tonight and we can check in in the morning to see how we've done. I promise not to cheat if you do!?! xx
 
Yes im going to be good! I didnt sucumb to the bakery so 1-0 to me! And well done on resisting the choc's too.

What do you do for a job? Im starting work for co-op next week in the evenings...it could be fatal with all the food right in my face! But it gives me a bit of time away from being mummy for a few hours so its all good.

Have you got much weight to loose? And whats yout name?

I am very similar, usually last 2 weeks on a diet but have made it into week 3, I have not given up my saturday alchohol treats though lol but so far so good. I do want everything I shouldnt this week but because I havent bought it, crisps and wine mainly its not in the house to have.

My name is Kay. When I do it I'm really good for 3/4 weeks then it goes to pot again!

I work as an underwriter for private medical instance doing 3 days. There's a treat table that always has something on it! Well done with the bakery. We can do it!! Xx
 
LicklLB I probably shouldn't admit this but don't count alcohol! So long as I stick to food side I still loose it's when I need hangover pizza that the problems start! X
 
Hi how've you done today? Got weighed and put 1lb on which is ok. Not been very good today but just been shopping so from tomorrow I'm fully on it (hopeful face :}) xx

Oh my god I wish I trusted myself lol, I dont count it to the point where if my syns are gone I wont not have any all week but i try and be good, have realised though that a box of wine every weekend is probably the reason I have gained weight ha ha ha its over 2000 cals lol oops
 
Ha ha! I switched to vodka with diet coke from lager feels like I'm being good then!!

Going to read my book tonight, got all evening meals planned for week and done a good shop today. Starting fresh, again, tomorrow! Good luck everyone! Xx
 
Oh no! But your not alone I've just eaten a full box of toffifee!!

Don't let it get you down fresh start in the morning. Do you do a food diary? I find it helps me to plan what I'm going to eat the night before. Then I know I can have it all without having to think/worry about it.

Tomorrow I'm doing EE porridge with a scan and banana (Hex B & A) with a little sweetener for brekkie. Then I had some super speed soup in freezer so having that for lunch. Fish with new pots and veg for tea. Snacks are some melon, an apple, strawberries all prepared. I also have some olives 2 syns for 16, a hifi 3 syns and a bag of walkers baked crisp 5 syns (10 syns in total)

I know I can eat all this without having to worry bout it and I've still got 5 syns and lots of free food if I'm still hungry. All I've got to do now is have the will power not to binge at night. Wish me luck!

We can do it together. I'm at work Tom but I'll keep checking on here if you feel like going off rails message me before you eat anything and I'll help you :)) x
 
Browsie not losing is no fun but if you are not counting alcohol you are not doing slimming world. Try a week counting your alcohol and see how it affects your syn count. We could all chose not to syn our favourite thing that passes our lips but who are we cheating other than ourselves good luck x x
 
Hi Brightonrose. As I said before so long as I stick to the food I always loose even when I don't syn alcohol. It's the food I'm struggling with at the moment. Just eating mindlessly, I only have a few drinks at the weekend. But thanks for the advice I'll give it a go. X
