Help ~ Stinking Cold

Hi,
I've got a stinking cold and sore throat and glands in my neck are swollen, anadin is not helping does anybody know if it will effect weight loss if I have strepsils or a beechams.

Most medications like sugar coated tablets and beechams etc can cause you to come out of Ketosis. So yes, they can affect your diet. Only take if you REALLY feel you need to, and be prepared for being out of ketosis.

Thankyou, will try and manage without, have just found some olbas oil so will use that to help with the cold. I'm hardly ever ill, but feel terrible today.

Try a hot St Clements (water flavouring) with one or two soluble aspirin in it. It's just like Lemsip!!

Yes, the hot bit usually helps loads.

Ask your pharmacist for diabetic sweets or medicine as these will be okay.
