help struggling with restart,bored n hungry

iv tried to watch what i eat over xmas put 2 lbs on making my target 11 lbs away now,
so thought id kick start myself and do 3 days of attack then back onto cruise.
iv eaten biscuits and bread today just feel so tired and hungry,

im getting bored of chicken,
i defo dont like fish,seafood,cant stand them,
so iv been eating chicken most days in stir frys with seasoning im just fed up of seeing it tbh,
been doing this since nov,i defo dont want to go back to my old ways,
even drinking water im struggling with.

any help or advice would be gratefully recieved

have you looked at the menus for inspiration. i tryto make sure that ive lots of choice in beef, yogurts, sugar free jelly . Once you get over the first few days you should feel alot better ...im trying to keep busy till ketosis kicks in

Yep definitely do some preparation and cook stuff up and put into the freezer. Do you have the Dukan recipe book? I agree with scrumper, check out the thread and see if you can do at least 3 days of attack. Chicken with white herb sauce might be nice. Or even onion and chiken with soy sauce, ginger and a little chilli that might even go well with beef?

come on hun you can and will do this! Just think if you get on with it now and do a couple of days attack you can be 2lbs or more close to goal!

I've just posted a new recipe for chicken that might help - i've had it loads and it's delicious.

Keep the faith - a few more weeks of staying on track and you'll be at target - 11lb is a couple of months focused effort, then think you'll be on conso with fruit and bread and all that variety. The quicker you get there, the sooner you can move on to conso.

Defo check out the recipe thread, maybe have a look through some old diaries for inspiration. Are you getting your daily oatbran helping? Maybe having that in a different format or at a different time of day might help?

Instead of stir fry what about grilling some chicken and cutting it into strips and allowing it to cool. I keep some in the fridge to snack on and that helps a bit. Also what about making some very easy burgers - all you need is lean mince, egg, if you can be bothered grated onion and then some seasoning. There was a nice recipe for some meatballs in the daily mail page of recipes:

1 medium onion, chopped
750g (1lb 10oz) minced beef
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tbsp Chinese plum sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp rosemary, finely chopped
1–2 tbsp mint or basil, finely chopped
Salt and black pepper

Mix together all the ingredient and then shape into meatballs the size of a walnut. Cook the meatballs, a few at a time, in a saucepan over a medium heat for about five minutes until they are golden-brown on all sides. Allow any fat to drain off on to kitchen paper.

Do something different with the chicken and as others have mentioned beef.
I like Emmmas meatloaf made with turkey mince, gives a good different flavour.

Have herbal tea instead of water if youre struggling to get water in.

Keep going, you can do it.

i love eggs

had the worst week ever,rubbish time at work,fell out with my mum,left freezer door open overnight everything went wrong

im really trying to get back on dukan

going to try and keep a diary next week,and a weigh in monday:cry:
