Help with wonky Avatar Please!

Sorry to ask this as I'm sure its probably been done many times before but I've had a quick search & can't find the answer

I have managed to upload an Avatar pic but every time I do it & no matter what pic I use it always puts it landscape not portrait Does anyone know how I can turn it???

Don't worry all sorted now! I needed to re-save my iphone pics to get rid of its the camera's orientation
