Ok so i am taking amoxicillin for a infected boil on my back, i am wondering if i am in ketosis or not. I checked this AM and was showing a dark purple.

If the amoxy knocks me out of ketosis would i still be losing weight?

I would think so because you are only having about 400 cals, but you may feel hungry if you are not in ketosis, so beware the hunger pangs and weak moments!

I think the ketosis just keeps the hunger away so I think once you stick to it you should still be ok but just find it harder... It might not take you totally out of it either...

Ketostix arent very reliable... Just go by how you feel! d
