I have had a difficult week too, what with Christmas do's and nibbling at work.
I am hoping to 'sort my tights' out this week, and try to stick to plan at least 80% of the time as damage limitation.
At the end of the day though, I am going to enjoy Christmas and not beat myself up about it if I put on a few pounds.
You got it! Damage limitation is the only option throughout December, especially if you have lots of social events.
We go out every weekend in December, at least once and I'm trying to stay the same this month.
You can be good if you really want to though, some people are very disciplined but we can only do it if we want to - sometimes the temptation is just too great to resist.
I try to be good by having a healthy starter (melon or veg soup) with no bread, main with no sauce or buttered veg and then I have a dessert.
I'm resisting the chocolates so far....
Yes I'd agree damage limitation this time of year.
But remember when eating/drinking we all have a choice, we can have high syns or low/free syns. The choice is yours, if you constantly chose high syned drinks/food you are going to have a gain.
Have you tried using syns on a weekly basis rather than daily. That way you can allow yourself more syns when on a day out & less when not socialising, therefore you are staying in control and within your syn allowance.
