Going out tonight to treat my daughter. She's chosen chinese, I'm on 1000 cals (step 3) so have about 400 cals for my meal tonight.

So anybody suggest what I can have and stay on track?

    Ta! X

Agree about the egg foo yung.

How about chicken curry - taking care not to eat too much of the sauce and sticking to the pieces of chicken and veg. That, together with a couple of spoonfuls of rice shouldn't blow your calorie budget.

sorry to contradict but I don't if chow mein would be great because it's all noodles but you could try chop suey which is made up of mostly beansprouts! there can't be many calories in a beansprout!!

    Hiya,

I dont know if you like fish, but the chinese I used to go to did steamed fish with garlic and chili....very nice!

Have a good read through the menu because theres probably lots of things on there you dont normally look at. Also ask the waiter which items are steamed and not fried, that should help.

    Most of all....enjoy!! :D
