Help!!

Hi

I'm new here but have been reading the posts with interest. I wonder if anyone can help me?

A bit of background. I'm 37, female, 2 children and had a starting weight of 14st 1lb. I have been doing SS+ for 3 weeks and my weight loss goes as follows:-

Week 1 - 10lb :)
Week 2 - 2lb:confused:
Week 3 - 2lb:confused::confused:

Can anyone think of any reasons as to why I have only lost 2lb a week for the last 2 weeks? I drink at least 3 1/2 lts of water a day. I have not changed my exercise at all - walk children to and from school and do a kettles class once a week. I don't have a TOTM as I am on the pill continuously.

I have been having the allowed amount of protein and veg once a day. The only variation from the diet is that I dislike most veg and so therefore my councillor said to have 80g of peas. Surely I "should" be losing more weight than this?

In my opinion I think cause you're exercising - your body needs more calories.. Try stepping up to step 2 for a week & see if it helps boost your loss! I've read a few posts on here by people who exercise, and they've had to up a step as they stopped losing or their weight loss slowed dramatically too. Hope this helps :) x

Also just to add
Some ppl have low losses in the 2nd and 3rd week as there body gets used to the diet and then u should b losing roughly 3-4lbs a week x
 
Swhite is right the second and third weeks generally produce lower losses in most people. Im onto week 4 and my losses have been 7lbs, 2lbs, 4lbs and I'm on course for another 2lb loss this week. It usually balances out at 14lbs a month, but weight loss isn't linear, you'll never lose 4lbs a week every single week. You'll probably have a couple of small weeks where you lose inches then a big week, then another small week while your body readjusts. Don't get disheartened by it, it'll still be a bigger faster loss on a monthly basis than conventional diets such as ww.
 
Thank you all for replying. Well I went for WI last night and I had lost 3lb, so that is 15lb in 3 weeks. I can't complain about that. I just hope that I can average 3lb for the next 4 weeks. xx
 
That's amazing :) I hope I manage to lose around 15lbs in 3 weeks! I'd be ecstatic lol.. Are you following SS or SS+? x

I am doing SS+, eating the protein and veg. I really don't think that I could cope without any food and I don't want my little girls to think that it's strange that Mummy isn't eating. xx
