Hi All,

Well after my bigger weight loss last week you would think that I would be on top of the world. So why did I have to lapse big style?????? :break_diet:

I feel so cr*p both in body and mind. More mind than anything. I really need to get this off my chest as it is not the first time. I think the fact that I told no one before (excpet one person and you know who you are!!), it was like being back in my old ways.

I really want these thoughts to stop.I can't stop thinking about f**d. It's starting to really do my head in. I have been doing so well so why did I have to ruin it?

I just feel so frustrated with myself.

Please give me a big kick up the backside as you are the only people I can tell. Mum would be really upset as I have lost more weight than her and if she knew I'd lapsed as well she would be so annoyed. I know my other half would kill me as he didn't want me to do this anyway.

Please help!!!!!!!!

Thanks Daisy. I think it's just that those size 12-14 clothes seem such a long way away but at the same time I felt great about the weight I've lost and the sizes I've dropped so far. Just don't know where it all went wrong this week.

well done becky im not guna give u a kick up bk side more a pat on the back u have done so so well hunni, u know u can do it so pick ur self back up and start agen 33lbs in 8 weeks well done i will now be looking up to u as im in my first week

The only thing I can say is......you're human!!!! No ones perfect and the best thing you can say to yourself is..'I enjoyed eating what I ate/drank last week, now it's time to get back on track.' I've found it really hard this week too, I've 'cheated' and eaten vegetables while my family eats, not terribly bad I know but it's still classed as being naughty. I'll soon see what damage I've done tomorow at my 2nd WI.......keep going hun, and as daisydoll wrote above, keep coming on here so we can all support each other! xxx

Hi Becks....sorry you had a lapse :( But I think you have beat yourself up enough about it, so best to move on and get back on that road to your dream, which is so much shorter then it was weeks ago.

I wish there was some way I could bottle up a promise for you, to convince you that your size 12s are so close at hand, and that the time when you look back on it is going to seem so blindingly small you will sit in amazement and wonder reflecting back on the days (now) that you didn;t think you would get there. BUt alas, I can't do that - I can only give you my word.

Stick to this diet as if your life depends on it. No more lapsing, or those 12s will get further away. Just adapt a ZERO-TOLERANCE to failure......and promise yourself that. I bet if you make a promise to a friend, you would keep it, wouldn't you? So make one to yourself....and keep that to, as you are your own best friend at the end of the day.

CHin up - whatever you did or had will not undo all you have done. Put it behind you, and press on.

You want it? It's there for you. JUst focus on it, and go and get it.

We are all behind you. No more guilt - no more shame. Just a race to your dream.

Thank you for that lovely post BL. I was nearly in tears just reading it and realizing how stupid I have been. Tomorrow is a new day. Not hoping for much this week now. But at least I fell like I am thinking straight.

So back to the gym now as I did slow down a bit to virtually stopping just to see if it was that which was making my weigh losses smaller but now I think I need to go as that keeps me positive.

Thanks again everyone. I think I need a big hug. Fiance, where for art thou?!!

Hi Becks!

Just wanted to say that first step is admitting there's a problem and getting help for it. So you're already doing brilliantly in doing that! Well done!

And try to take each day as a fresh new day, the slate is wiped clean and you can choose how you want to act/what you want to put in your mouth. It no longer matters what happened yesterday, except to learn from where you went wrong so that you can avoid it in the present.

And you are doing fabulously well, you just need to refocus, look at your original reasons and take it moment by moment.

Well done for sharing Becks. I hope this helps and you accept the support. As I have said before on here, we are all unlearning age old habits and it is going to take time to be able to completely stop and change. That is one of the reasons I like LL - I have time out from food and the group discussions are helping me begin to understand what is going on in my head.
