Hi there! :)

My name's Kelly, I'm 22 years old and have been overweight most of my life, but in the past 4 years have gained a fair few stone and I'm now at the heaviest I've ever been and I hate being so big! So today is the start of me trying to shift some of it! My longterm goal is to lose about 13 stone, but for now I'd like to lose about 2-3 stone by christmas, so I thought joining a forum will help me to keep the motivation going :D I see a lot of you here are on specific diets, which I have absolutely no clue about, so any diet help will be gratefully accepted :) x

I am pretty new too but this site seems an invaluable source of support. I am doing LL after all previous attempts failed horribly. Have also got a lot to shift - hoping to lose over 10 stone by the end of April 2010 - a big goal but achievable based on other's experiences.
What slimming programme are you following or are you going it alone? Wishing you all the best in achieving your goals.

Hi and welcome. Are you thinking of a Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD) like Cambridge Diet, LighterLife or Lipotrim? Or something like Weightwatchers or Slimming World?

I was thinking Weight Watchers, like calorie counting and upping my exercise and see how that goes, can't really afford to go on the special VLCD's that I've seen on here. I'm doing it with my partner, he's a bit of a fitness freak anyway, but he wants to eat healthier too, so it's not going to be so tough with us both doing it :)
