Hi, can I join you?

    Hiya, I'm new to the site and really do have alot of weight to lose.
    I was mortified to step on the scales and see that I weigh 22st 3lbs. I actually cried.
    I would like to get down to about 13 stone - and although it isn't going to happen overnight, I want to lose enough to look good on my wedding day in November - and at this size it just isn't going to happen. I am not just losing it for the wedding, I want to be healthier forever.
    So if you wouldn't mind me joining in? I really need some support when it gets too hard xx

    I'm just starting again today, and got a lot to lose too.

    Welcome, Jenn, and good luck with your weight loss. I was just a bit lighter than you when I started (21.5 stone), and am now under 14 stone, so closing in on that 13 stone mark! It's taken me 18 months to get to this stage, but I've done it steadily and without exercise, so I'm sure you can do it quicker than me! :) xx

    I started at a similar weight to you, it is hard, but I just keep thinking of the health gains I see. Good luck!

    Thanks people :) I am finding it alot easier this time round (yes, its only been a few days) but have more support from other half this time. I also have annual leave for three weeks after thursday so alot of cooking in bulk and freezing ready for when it is just me. I tend to under eat, so thius way i know theres some proper food there. at the start of the year i realised i didnt eat breakfast or lunch, then would be starving by tea time so would eat tea and then snack which wasnt good. so i think i know where i have been going wrong and also need to build up the exercise and should start seeing some results :) xxx

    well good luck jennx hope all goes well love its great isnt it when the oh supports you it does make it a lot easier mine is my rock keeps me going
