Well It's just gone over my 2nd week and I lost 1 stone as of today on my CD.

Which is actually pretty good considering my 1st week went terribly and I have had a few blips this week (Wednesday and Today Sunday).

I cannot understand why I have had these little blips as I know what to expect as I did CD last year and had lost over 2 stones but its like my mind keeps telling me I want food even if my stomach says no.

My start weight is just over 23 stone so I really need to lose the weight and I was so happy when I was 10/11 stone years ago.

Any tips to keep me going even when I think I cannot resist? I am a big time comfort eater, any stress or illness and I struggle to stay on track.

I know if I can just keep going for a month I will be fine but its just getting over these hurdles. Its hard as well when my hubby is 11 stone and eats enough for 3 people which usually includes loads of junk food!

I am so happy to have found this site!!
Thanks to all you guys who inspire me not to give up completely and to try and perservere!

    hi justabrat,

welcome to mini's. You will find loads of help and support here. my oth is 11stone and can also eat everything and hardly put on any weight it really annoys me!!Anyway i started cd 2weeks ago, i found it hard at first but have stuck to it and have to say im enjoying the diet and seeing the scales going down. My starting weight was 20stone. I really have to lose this weight for health reasons,my little girl etc i just have to thats all i keep telling myself. When things get hard i just busy myself with something drink water and come on here for a nosy round! For my 1st week i didnt havent any nice things in the house at all, now there is and im not tempted at all in saying that id love pizza now mmm.... but no i wont lol!!! maybe you could ask himself to keep the nice things out of your way, in the car?

hope ive helped. best of luck with cd

    becky x :)

Thanks everyone for the support. Luckily the hubby works away normally during the week so its really just the weekends to contend with.

I am really hoping I can stick to it this time and get down to my goal weight. I wish they would ban food commercials grrrrr!
