I joined slimming world in Jan this year but only went for one week but didn't bother keeping it up as I wanted to save my money for other things and it seemed a bit complicated.

At the beginning of April I decided to give it another go after putting on a stone in 3 months and so far I am 1 pound away from having lost that stone. I recently bought a fitbit too so I'm going to try and aim for 10k steps a day and go for walks on my lunch break at work. I'm quite enjoying planning what meals I'm having and finding new recipes to cook, I don't feel as deprived as I thought I would. I think it's definitely a better option than meal replacement diets and shakes.

I was 14 stone 2 when I started, I'm now 13 stone 3 and am aiming to get down to 10 stone.
