Hi new here and needing all the support i can get (and i dont just mean by wearing spanx!) I seriously need to lose weight but i've been diagnosed with an under active thyroid which has also caused cholesterol to rocket so i seem to be caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.:confused:

I'm trying hard to follow the sw plan but obviously have to be careful on egg/cheese/red meat etc etc etc intake to bring cholesterol down, on meds for this which means no alcohol which i guess is a good thing!:argh:

And to top it all 17 weeks today i fly to the big ole U S of A for the very first time to meet someone for the very first time!:cupid:

So any help and motivation gratefully received :D

I'm also doing SW, on my third week and loving it so far :)

Welcome and good luck on the weight loss, maybe trying the green plan for a few days would help.
