HOLIDAY HELP

    Hi

    Can anyone help I am due to start LL on thursday I cannot wait to start but one problem have a holiday the end of march - how do you cope with going on a two week holiday................. any advice.

    Your holiday might not seem that far away but it is quite a while on LL, you will have learnt a lot by then from the counselling, your LLC and your group, but you have a choice.
    Take the packs with you and continue, I know someone who had a 2 week holiday in Portugal and stayed with the programme. Or you can choose to eat, but stick to low carb and low fat which will minimize the damage.
    I wouldn't make a decision until much nearer the time though.
    I started about 6 weeks before Christmas which included a week away, and I worried about it for ages, but when I got there I was fine. The counselling does help you sort out your head and I managed the whole thing staying abstinent.

    I had 3 weeks in New Zealand on my 4th week of LL. Take your packs and bars and continue as normal. There is always another holiday when you are slim and you can eat whatever you like then :)

    Yep - you'll notice that slim people don't take a break from benig slim when they go on holiday, and that's the mindset we need to get into. So - treat it like any other week - that means foodpacks and lots of water!

    Good luck - by then you'll have lost loads and you won't want to break the great feeling it gives!
