Homemade Chips

My mams makes the best chips EVER - cuts potatoe old school and deep fries them - proper chips !! Went down to her at lunch time and she had these for me with some beans and fish fingers, can point both of these but havent a clue about the chips. Id say if there was 8 chips on the plate and they werent really thick either and she put them on kitchen roll to soak off any fat.

any idea what this would be - i put down 4 pts ? As full bag of chipper chips is 7 and it was no where near this size ?!!!!
 
mmmm the fatter the chip less calories,mcdonalds fries are high but chipshop chips arent? Were they the same thickness as chipshop chips?

i would point 5 just to be on the safe side! as 102b said, fries are worse than fat chips as they must absorb more fat.
 
soooo just put me in the mood for some homemade chips now!!!

Just my twopenneth but i still eat my own style oven chips, use a large potatoe cut into large chips then put in oven with a little spraylight and bake some times i coat with schwartz cajun seasoning puts a different spin on the Potatoe
