I have my LL soups heated in the microwave- it is MUCH better at getting rid of lumps than adding hot water. I do them for a minute then whisk then for another two minutes, whisking again (with fork is fine) at the end- lovely! But keep an eye- I use three different microwaves between work and home and rented flat and the one at work is fierce- boiled over one day and I lost half my soup:cry: and it was a bugger to clean up!

I wouldn't recommend using a microwave as it's too hot and will destroy some of the vitamin content of the packs, same as if you add boiling water, let the water cool slightly before adding to the pack.

I know that some people "cook" their packs in the microwave, but the official line from Cambridge is not to do it - however if you are going to, try not to do this to more than one pack a day.

    HTH :)
