Hotel Chocolat Slab

Ok, so for Christmas I got a massive slab of Hotel Chocolat Rocky Road.

Sounds amazing, but it's currently sitting unopened on my desk. I want to break it into pieces to use as syns but can't get my head around how much is an acceptable slice. They are huge.

Does anyone have a rough idea of how I go working this out? I've not used to syn calculator online yet, how does it work?

Sorry if i sound completly inept, I've only just completed my first week of EE.

I am unsure, that sounds like a load of chocolate. I couldn't keep it. I would have to give it away(not kidding)

If the pack tells u how many cals in the whole slab you can then divide by 20 = total syns

Then if u break/cut it into even pieces and work out syns per bit

I was hoping to use the syn calculator, but the pack only tells me the ingredients.

Could you not weigh it, and then guestimate? You will be able to find 30g chocolate syns online and then multiply up. Im sure it has to be near 200g. Very jealous! I love hotel chocolat chocolate, good job closest one is miles away now x

So i weighed a tiny chunk of my chocolate today and it was 17g, and at least 6syns. I had been estimating for too much before!

I am soooooo guilty of eating with my eyes!
