How Can I Still Be in Ketosis?

Im doing the 1000 plan now and I have been eating granary bread, well one slice or two at the most each day but Im still in ketosis... Im not complaining lol but I dont understand how can I be when I have upped my carbs :confused:
 
I thought 1000 calories was borderline ketosis territory, you may find you go in and out of ketosis for a while.
 
1 medium slice of granary bread has 17 carbs according to google !

From previous low-carbing I think the range of carbs that can knock people out of ketosis is 40-60g a day. It depends on your body's sensitivity to them and also how much exercise you take - if you've just exercised and eat a slice of bread it'll prob burn off straight away for example.

So depending what else you're eating you could easily stay in ketosis :D
 
Ellie is right some people have quite a high carb tollerance level which means they can eat more carbs and stay in ketosis. I know that im the opposite and can only eat about 20g carbs anything over and i get quickly booted out of it.
