How do i create profile?

Hi guys,
How do I create a profile? I see on most people's they have a ladder thing that shows their weight loss etc.
When I click on profile it says access denied. What am I doing wrong ??

Im pretty sure you need to have more than 50 posts before you can do your ticker, i joined a few weeks ago and used up a lot of my posts on games like word association etc, think i found them in usercp at the very top of the page, top left i think, thats where you will find the tutorials for making a ticker, click on mine if you like, that might take you to where you need to go
