How do you work out syns in millilitres?

The online syns calculator only allows for grams and the NVs are in mls (I'm trying to work out the syns for Carotino Oil)

Ml and grams are equal to my knowledge. I have scales that weigh liquid and they appear to be the same. So if I weighed out 30ml of milk it should weigh approx 30g

Something like oil wouldn't have a free food allowance anyway so would be a straightforward 1 syn for every 20 cals x
