How long do MiM's stay fresh:

Hi me again!
My hubby is doing this with me and is back to work tomorrow so I'm trying to think of lunch ideas.
Salad and some type of meat/fish is fine but could he make a MiM in the morning and bring it for lunch? Do they last well?
(What a nice concerned wifey I am!!)

I make mine in the morning whilst waiting for the kettle to boil, wrap it in foil and take it to work. Somedays I'm still picking at it in the afternoon and its fine but I don't put cream in it anymore. May need to keep it in a fridge if you do.

If I make one in the evening, I'll only give it 24 hours. As there's no preservatives in it (IIRC), I think it should be consumed within 24 hours. Don't think it will harm you if you left it a little longer though.

Thanks for that. He could make it in the morn and bring it with him so.
We haven't made them yet so hopefully they will go down well.

I have made them and kept in fridge for 3 days, take a bit out and butter it when I fancy some, not had any problems.
