how long till in ketosis ??

Just wanted to wish you luck on your journey.
I have never used the ketosis sticks.. but I know I was in ketosis from about the 3rd day.

Yup basically if it changes colour and goes any of the pink shades you're in ketosis, it doesn't matter what shade of pink it is. If you do get the very dark pink it may mean that you're dehydrated, so keep on glugging the water to avoid that.

You can buy ketostix from chemists or on line from lo carb shops, e bay, and chemists.

I've never used the ketostix. I got into ketosis round about the 4th day. I always know that I'm still in it because of the salty taste that's permanantly in my mouth!

I think you go into it on the third day hun, though it depends if youve reduced your carbs the week before!

I'm normally about 36 hours. It's my 3rd day again on ss+ and I tested this morning and I was pink but better than that, not hungry..yay
