How many cals !!

Hi how many cals is eveyone eating to lose perhaps 1-2lb a week . I have been told 1000 but am hungry on this and not losing ( or gaining ) . Please help x
 
That's to low maybe 1200- 1500 is a healthy amount to eat a day..
 
About 1,400 and I lose 2 to 3lbs a week, but I do have a LOT of weight to lose so numbers-wise it comes off quicker for me :)
