I can find loads of information telling me that fresh pasta (shop bought) is not syn free and dried pasta is. But what about homemade pasta? Ingredients: 1 egg and 100g flour. I know flour has a syn value but it is in ALL pasta. My homemade pasta contains no preservatives, no flavours, no sugar and no oil or fat so is it syn free like dried pasta or full of syn like fresh pasta?

I have never quite understood this thing about fresh pasta, so maybe someone can explain it here.

Dried egg pasta - flour, water and egg. Fresh egg pasta - flour, water and egg. So what's the difference?

I can understand the syn value of the ready cooked pasta in packs which have some oil in them to keep the pasta from gluing together - obviously the oil makes a difference there.
