How many times a day do you say to yourself....

    ...oh I will start again tomorrow??

    I say it to myself so often. It's why I've only once got past about day 5 -because "I'm starving. Ah stuff it I can start again tomorrow." :(

    I'm sat here doing it again. I keep think of all the lovely stuff to eat in my freezer and thinking - you know what I can start again tomorrow.

    You'd have thought I would know by now that - I won't!! Because I never do start again tomorrow so why on earth should I think now that this tomorrow would be any different??

    You know whats a good idea if this keeps happening, pick a D-Day - NOT tomorrow, say 3rd May, and eat what you want (and trust me once you give yourself that license you wont want to eat too much anyways) and get started on that D Day you choose

    Too much pressure when it has to be tomorrow

    I used to do that alot when i was trying to diet in the past. I used to give up on my diet after 2 days because i couldnt resist the food.
    But since starting on CD i am making sure that never happens, because i know i will not be able to get myself back on track. Also i think about all the effort i have put in so far and say to myself that i am not going through all that again.

    But i have been really hungry for the past 2 days so i have just been smelling food and then walking away. It seems to be doing the trick.

    Why dont you try clearing out all the tempting food and yummies so that when you are on the diet you wont have anything too tempting to make you start over again.

    If you have to have food around for hubby/kids, i think what would be a good idea is if you asked them to hide the food somewhere where you cant find it and then tell them to help themselves.

    I'm sorry if my advice isnt very good, i live at home with parents and brothers/sisters and so i just have them keeping me on track and dont have to worry about feeding anyone.

    I hope you find the strength to resist.

    maybe if you're feeling hungry hun step up the water. It could be that you are actually thirsty and are mistaking this for hunger....

    :whoopass: I'm exactly the same! Started last Monday, got to day 4, lost 6lb, started nibbling, and binged over the weekend! I have put on the 6lb, so i am back at square one, and starting again today! Why do i do it to myself?? Arrrrgggggghhhhhhh!:eek: :eek:

    This is exactly how I do the diet, which is why I have not been succesful! I am low carbing this week and will be starting on 9th May. I need to lose 5 stone before I go on holiday (26th July) which will give me 10 weeks. I reckon this is just about possible if I am 100%, as 12lbs in week 1 then average at 7lbs a week.

    It's sooooo good to know I'm not the only one!

    I did manage to get through yesterday - of course now I'm thinking to mysekf - ooh I really fancy some food - I can start again tomorrow!:rolleyes: I think maybe I had better get used to thinking that!:D

    them feelings normally go away tho hun., try distracting urself by goin 4 a walk or somethin. and drink more water.
