    If I was to start counting calories, how can I find out how many I should have a day???

    hiya, if you google BMR you should get all the info you need, click on the bmr calculator, put your info in, and it will come up with the amount of cals you need to maintain, the a bit further down the page click on harris benedict equation and use that to see how many you need to lose weight.

    You could try the myfitnesspal.com website. It gives you your calorie allowance for losing weight according to your stats. Great website. But there are loads of others as well.
