How much difference...


A sucker for a key change
How much difference does drinking lots of water make to weight loss? I know that it is great for your skin and I have heard that it is good for weight loss, but I don't know how or why?

I know I don't drink enough during the day when I am busy/distracted. So when I realise (in the evening) that I have forgotten again, I try to drink more which in turn makes me need to go to the loo at night :(:mad:.

If I knew or understood what difference it makes, it might encourage me to remember a bit more....

The gist of it is drinking water helps your body metabolise fat. Something to do with the more water in your system, the better the liver can concentrate on what it is supposed to be doing (breaking down fat).
I keep a big bottle of water on my desk at work and make sure I drink it once a day!

Also when you're dehydrated the brain can translate it as hunger.

I am sure that simply by drinking mor water, you "fill up" more, so you are less prone to be hungry - surely that MUST be true.
