how much in real lbs

    thanks everyone for my birthday messages yesterday :D

    as you all know i decided to have the day off for my birthday and i think considering i decided i could have anything i liked for 1 day i was quite good

    well i decided to go to pizza hut (i know wrong but it was my birthday) i had 2 slices and then said i wasnt going to have anymore cos the 2 slices had filled me ( i would often eat at least 4-5 slices :eek:) i had diet coke and no side orders

    i didnt have any birthday cake, although i did have one, i just gave everyone else a piece and had my frozen chocolate tetra

    went into town last night for drinks, i had 1 malibu n lemonade, 1 vod n diet coke and a small glass of rose, the rest was water

    i am sooo proud that i didnt over induldge, i had a lovely day bein free to choose what i liked, and although what i haswas 'bad' food i portion controled for the first time in my life!!!

    now i need to get back int ketosis :D

    just wondering i know when i get weighed it is going to look like i have put a lot on due to water etc but will i have actually put on any 'real' pounds? or should i loose the extra weight within a few days?

    Hey Stacey,

    Happy birthday for yesterday and congratulations on your portion control!! There's no way i'd have been that restrained!!

    We're going out for a meal next Saturday to a lovely restaurant and me not eating is defo not an option. Just not sure whether to try and have salad and chicken/fish or whether to allow myself one night off.

    Would be handy to know too what the 'damage' is like in terms of real pounds and how hard they will be to shift afterwards. I'm really starting to worry about it especially since this is only my first week and I have been sooo angelic so far.

    hiya there Stacey, well done,

    I am going for a meal friday teatime it's my daughters 13th and we are going with my mam and dad and my mother in law. Hubby working abroad :( !!

    I have looked at the menu and I am going to have a warm salad which is salad leaves with chicken, bacon and a poached egg!!!!;)

    Do you think this is a good option? Not sure if eggs are high in carbs as i am in ketosis so don't want to knock myself out of it!!

    Glad you had a good day, and good on you for not going bananas and eating everything in sight! You should be proud of your self control! I have my 10th weddng anniversary coming up this month and I hope I can show the same restraint!!!:D:D:D

    Wobbly I think that sounds like a good option, I have eaten all of those and not been knocked out of keto but of course we are all different and it may not be the same case for you ;)

    i got weighed on the morning of my birthday at 12.11 stone n this morning i am 13.4 :'(
