I've discovered that I love the stuff (yes even on it's own!). I've looked up threads but they're mostly recipes.

Wondered what people recommend as to how much to eat for a good loss at weigh in. 5 a day?

5 scanbran is a healthy extra- have 5 a day and you should notice a difference- although some people choose it as a healthy extra 3 ish times a week, not every day :)

Do you think it would have the sane effect if used in a cake form?

I think so yes. I've looked it up a lot on the SW site & the majority of recipes are for cakes. I suppose if you can't eat it the way it is anyway is better! :)
