I know we're meant to drink a fair bit of water but how much are we meant to aim for? And why that much? Just wondering if it's to help with side effects or if it actually helps the weight loss or what really.
At least 3 litres. It's to keep your body healthy and hydrated since we get nothing from food. People on WW etc take in about 2 litres a day in food apparently. Some people feel they lose more if they drink more but for other people it's the opposite.
Ah ok, makes sense. I hadn't thought about all the water we won't be taking in through food. I really struggle with drinking enough so need to know reasons to make myself do it!
