I am on day 2 of SS and am so fed up that this is all I have to look forward to for the next 3 weeks. That's how long till I have to take a day off as it's my works xmas party. I really want to do this as i'm emigrating to Spain on 28th Jan and only have 2 stone left to loose before then. I'm planning on doing it till the xmas party, taking 2 days off then doing it till xmas eve and stopping there. Then just try to maintain over Jan. I have done it before this year and lost 2 stone which I have kept off. I started at 15st now i'm 13st and goal is 11st. Ahhhhh i'm so hungry and I feel miserable. Also I havn't smoked in 2 days. Someone please tell me i'm doing the right thing?

It doesn't sound like your mind is quite in the right place. Maybe you should have a good think about why you want to lose weight and when for. Maybe it will help you focus and concentrate on the positives, so you can get past your current thoughts.

Thanks. You did help. Just writing down how I felt made me feel better. Plus your second comment made me laugh! I'll be fine in the second week when I can chew a bar! First week blues! xxx

Youll be fine hun - just remember why you are doing this and that you wont lose the weight any quicker on any other program!! Try and distract yourself, take a bath, go for a walk and you will feel better.

Keep up the good work moggy, its tough isn't it at the start. I'm on a restart and I had to fight some naughty thoughts about breaking the diet this evening (went for a coffee in a department store and people tucking into cafe treats). Good Luck, you've achieved success before and will do it again x

Reckon doing diet and not smoking is hard to do together, you will be fine stick at it and gets lots of black coffee down you for a caffine fix. I must admit I crave my bar each morning for breakfast,it won't be long til you can have your fix. x
