    I been on SW now for 8 weeks i have lost 1st 4 ibs but i am struggling:wave_cry: any ideas on how to kick myself up the rear and get going again i have another 3 or 4 st to lose yet and it seems unobtainable at the moment i am going to Mexico next September:D and i want to do it by then or at least a good bit of it.

    Aww hun if only losing weight was as easy as gaining it hey. Why dont you start a weight loss diary on here, have a read through some of the other diarys and get an idea of what you can put on yours. It really does help.

    Well done on the weight loss so far youve done fab. I think you will be able to lose 4 stone by Sept next year. If you lose 1lb a week thats 4 stone a year. I got 8 stone to lose so I am in it for the long haul. There is usually always someone about if you have any questions good luck xx

    thanks for the encouragement you are also doing well good luck i am in for the long haul as well and it is great to come on here and chat to others trying to do the same and your right i could go off the rails tonight and put on 2 ibs easy but it would take me 2 weeks to get it off crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Try taking a look at this in smaller stages - be it in time, weight, measurements or whatever works for you. You have done brilliantly so far, you just need to remember that it is a way of life - some journeys take the fast motorway route but they are not much fun and the scenery is borning - taking a longer country trail will have twists and turns and the unexpected around each corner - a much more interestign way to go. Be gentle with yourself, of course you will reach your goal if you really want it, focus on that feeling of stepping off the plane in Mexico knowing that you are the one that made the changes happen...........

    My old consultant always used to set us the 14 HEB challenge when we moaned we were struggling!

    Try and have 14 completely different HEB's this week - without repeatingt hem once! It makes you think and juggle food you wouldn't normally consider!

    I had that 14 HEB challenge once! The only issue i had was buying extra stuff in that I then 'could not' eat for another week that would then be open packets in my cupboard (dried apricots/pagen rolls). It really did not make a lot of difference in the long run. To be honest i think it is a way of making you focus on writing your food diary for a week which is no bad thing. Now if anyone else has tried this and it made a difference please let me know...........

    What a good idea i will try the HEBs and like you said the variety will help and make me focus on what i am doing thank you all for the advise what a lovely site i have found its so helpful i have been reading through them all printed off recipes so i feel motivated again its nice to know your not on your own thank you all:D:D
