I can do this!

Hi everyone. I have started Cambridge Sole Source today for the...................5th time. I seem to do fab the first week but fall apart on the second week. So this time I went to see my CD lady my husband came in with me to also have a chat with her to see how he can give me more support.

Well for starters he has to be tougher with me and not just let me give up and rather than just going to weigh once a week I will be going to see her a few times a week.

I have simply got to succeed this time I am too heavy and sooner rather than later my health is going to suffer.

So day 1 nearly over and feeling ok am taking the tetras because I cant stand the packets
but I have got a little headache not too bad though. I am not telling anyone apart from my hubbie that Im doing this again because I will only have rolling eyes and not again so keeping quiet for a while.

I am starting again tomorrow for my 5th time also I'm at my heaviest and so depressed about it :( I lost 5 stone before and put 6 back on :( I just don't feel like I have the will power :(

Can I ask how this happened? When you came off the diet did you just return to all your previous bad eating habits or ... I don't know... I seriously can't think of another reason why you would put 6 stone back on. What happened?
 
Yep like an idiot went straight back the same habits plus I got pregnant had crazy cravings for all carbs and was put on bed rest for the last 4 months so wasn't active at all :)
 
We will do it this time guys I have got to succeed I am sick of giving up and ending up bigger than when I started. Its going to be hell at times but it will be worth it in the end. My husband is so supportive and he is even going half on the price with me.

Have you considered the SS+ with the small meal?
I was just like you on SS I had never got past day 10 without crumbling and raaiding the fridge , but this time around the small meal has made a massive difference and Im in my 3rd week and feeling fabulous!
If you find yourself struggling dont throw the towel in speak to your CDC about SS+

No I think its best if I dont have a meal because once I have eaten something I will only go and try to pick at something else. I am going out a week Friday with the girls though for a big drinking session so will have to have a word with my CD lady to see what I have to eat before I start drinking I dont go out that often so I am going to enjoy myself and get straight back on it the next day.
 
OMG that is amazing! I will do it this time I did have the girls over last night and I had a little chicken. not going to beat myself up about it like i would normally do just got back on with it today. I am getting weighed on tuesday for my first weigh in and will see how it goes.
 
let me no how your weigh in goes i get weighed tuesday first week im so determined to stick to it not cheated at all really need to shift 4 stone by my holiday then the rest when i get back :) x
 
Will do I really struggles yesterday have got to be honest and I said to my hubbie I cant do this and he had a hissy fit and didnt speak to me the rest of the night so I went to bed out of the way. I got up this morning apologised to oh and have just got on with it when normally I would go and binge. this journey is going to long and hard and I know I will struggle along the way but thats if it was easy we would all be size 0 x
 
im really hungry today its unreal but no i deffently not going to give up have a really strong head for this diet and will not give in to temptation to feel crap after i have scoffed my face no chance and to waste the last 5 days i have worked hard at so far :) just think of those days you have done so well and if you give in now they will be all for nothing... keep strong and think of weighin on tuesday just tomorro left then thats it week 1 done :) try set yourself some mini goals i need to loose nearly 10 stone but to think of it that way makes me feel its going to last a life time.. so i have a holiday coming up in 13 weeks so aiming to loose 4 stone by then i find it helps alot with mini goals :) x
 
I know what you mean. Well I have a wedding to go to in 4 weeks a hen weekend in september my big 40 in october and im bridesmaid in November so I have got alot of incentives. Plus I would love to go out on my annual works xmas party in a nice dress for a change rather than wearing black and trying to blend in the background. thanks for the encouragement sarahjt this site is so supportive and it does really help. x:eek:
 
just target on the wedding you have to go to in 4 weeks try say you want to loose 1 and half stone that should be manigable atleast you will see the 4 weeks fly by and hopefully your target reached :) x
 
Im back on it tomorrow been crap again so starting my shakes AGAIN tomorrow went to the wedding I was supposed to diet for yesterday and hated seeing the pictures of myself I looked like a whale but as my husband says its only me that can do something about it and he is right no one else can do it for me if I really want this I need to
dig deep and get the strength and courage to do this for myself.

I've started SS for the second time this week (day 5 today), I did it before and lost 4 stone but stupidly went back to old habits and now here I am again - but this time I mean business for good!!
My starting weight is v similar to yours, and my eventual target weight will be similar too.
So, if you need a buddy to spur each other on and remind ourselves why we really want this, then I'll be here!
Wish I'd known about this site before, it's really helping me get on with it knowing there's more of us out there!

Hey that would be great to have someone to spur me on thanks. well finished first day and ok I have drank 3 litres which is good for me normally I can only do 2, the water flavouring definately helps as I hate plain water. Going to see my CD lady wed to get some more shakes I think going to see her a couple of times a week to start will keep me on track.

So icanandiwill we will both do it this time just think of all those nice clothes we can both wear come the end of the year.
 
Well day 2 is nearly over and so far so good have nearly drunk 3 litres of water and just having my last tetra.
Going for my bridesmaid fitting on the 28th of this month so hopefully would have shifted a bit of weight by then.
 
Yep I know I can do it this time totally different mindset this time I went to wedding on weekend and looking at pics of myself I was totally disgusted. So over the weekend I actually looked at myself in a full length mirror and I really didnt like what I saw. I have battled with my weight most of my life and this is the biggest I have been. My husband loves me whatever size I am but I do know that both he and my parents worry about my health, so this time I will succeed and look good and feel good about myself.
