Hi there

I cheated yesterday as I ate small piece of Chicken brest and 3 pieces of girlled lam. I am not going to do it again but is it going to affect my weight lose as i am having weign in session and shall I tell my CDC??? or shall I keep it to my self?

Hi hana,

I'm no expert but no-one else has replied yet so here's my two pence worth.

A bit of chicken and grilled lamb don't contain any carbs, so in falling off the wagon at least you fell in a good direction! You won't be knocked out of ketosis so hopefully it will be fairly easy for you to just put it in the past and to not nibble today.

It might affect your weight loss a little - perhaps not so much due to the calories but if the meat was salty it might make you retain fluid. However just drink lots of water and it will soon go away again.

I would tell your CDC: maybe he/she can help you to work out why you felt the need to eat (stress? boredom? ...) so that next time you face that situation you might be able to deal with it in a different way.
Your CDC is on your side - she wants you to succeed! I'm sure she won't give you a hard time, just support you and hopefully help you to avoid doing it again.

i cheated on my first week and felt soooo bad after

dont worry bout it hun, least u cheated with food that wont knock ya ketosis, i would advise u to tell ya cdc, they rnt gonna tell u off they r there to help, hopefuly it wont damage ya loss and if it does it wont be a lot, draw a line under it and start again

Dont stress I had a 2 cocktail sausages last week and it didnt seem to effect weigh in.

I would tell my CDC they are here to help, dont worry about it, its over now so just pick urself up and carry on.

As the others have said draw a line under it drink your water and have your next pack as normal when i cheated i had two jumbo sausages and felt like crap, i wont do it again i hope....

Hi Hana,
Whether it affects your weight loss or not doesn't matter - but you've decided not to do it again and that's great. We're all human and 'cheating' I think, will happen to us all sometime. Just get back there and try again. Remember the small er trousers you can get into!! I would tell the cousellor - she should help you rationalise your actions and give you support for the future.
I'm sure you will have lost something so stay positive.

Hi,

Just wanted to ask how you got on with your weigh in?

I started last week and have my first weigh in tonight, been really good all week but this morning my boss brought sausage sandwiches and I had one!! Feel awful and have drunk so much water since. Is it going to be scary on the scales tonight??

My weigh in was ok, I lost 1.5 kg thats means 3lb...
