So I lost two pounds in my first week of slimming world and now have gained it back.
Going to try my best and keep my diabetes under control this week as I suspect that is the cause. Overall I didn't go over syns but perhaps the up and down of levels hasn't helped.
I'm also going to change weigh in days to Monday as I always consume my diet coke or liquid Saturday night as I generally stay up later.
Dissapointed but going to hopefully lose that two pounds again this week. I hope I of as I love slimming world and want it to work for me.
Also I feel ill today with cold, which I think is why I am not overreacting on the gain (I do not have the energy)
It's hard to feel motivated after a gain though, isn't it? X

Thank you Yoyo. I just hopped back in scales and it's now 1.5 gain rather then 2... Iv got decent scales so I guess I weigh a tad more when I first get up. Yep going to stick with it xxxx

It is hard, especially with your first gain (I kinda hoped it would never happen but it happens to nearly everyone!) and so soon into SW. So many things can lead to a short-term gain even if you feel you stuck to the plan, including being ill. If you're not sure, get your consultant or someone on here to look at your food diary. Stick with it and you may well see a really good loss next week; that often happens after people have a gain. Good luck.

Try and stop jumping on and off the scales, you will drive yourself mad. If you are doing SW at home, just weigh once a week like you would if you were at group.

Stay strong jessiepie1982! I will keep my fingers crossed you'll get a lovely big loss this week on the scales!

I agree with Dudleydo, try and weigh once a week. You may get disappointed if one day it goes up a little, but that could just be due to water.
