I love my friends!!

#1
I started LT last Tuesday and I had a really tough week last week, not so much with LT but with emotional stuff. Yesterday afternoon one of my friends called to ask me down to her house, I tried to argue that leaving me wallow in my horrible mood might be best but she wouldn't hear of it. Then both her and another friend asked all about how I was getting on with the diet, asked all sorts of supportive questions with absolutely no judgement whatsoever...they even made out like they could tell a difference in me which after 5 days would be fairly unlikely. When it came time for them to eat (hangover Sunday evening eating for them) I said I was going to go home as I really didn't know if I was strong enough to watch them eating burgers and chips but again they wouldn't hear of it. They made me go home and get my last shake of the day and then the three of us sat there and had our dinner watching X-factor...and I actually found that I liked smelling the food even though I wasn't having any. It's just so nice to know I have people like that in my life, who will support me no matter what and respect my decisions. The only thing I can fault them on is their determination that the three of us dress up as Tic-Tac's for Halloween!!!

Just had to share this, can't gush to them cus they'd tell me to shut up!!

:) Made me smile

Its fantastic you have friends that are so supportive of your emotions and of course the diet. Any low moments in the future might be thwarted by talking to these friends maybe? Your own personal support network. Long may it continue for ya.

Thanks everyone, I am so lucky to have them. Sandra, tic-tac's are those small sweets that come in a plastic box, either white, green or orange...they give you 2 minutes of minty freshness for just 2 calories!!!..or so the ads say. The latest advertisement campaign for them has people dressed as tic-tac's running around..it's quite funny but I've no idea how we'll make the costumes!!

Ahhh, I've got a couple of fab friends like that :) Isn't it fab! :) We are very lucky.

Absolutely loving the tic tac dress up. Not normally a fan of fancy dress, but this is good! (so long as I'm not going hee hee). You just have to take a pic for us to see :D Wonder if anyone will go as the tic tac box? :)

xx
