    Hi team...

Can anyone help me find some 'sensible' shoes on tinterweb?

I need something flat, black, and suitable for use with a Police uniform (I just got fitted for a uniform today! Not because I'm in the Police, but I play with the GMP band).

Something like the Dr Martens classics Dr Martens - Classics - 1462 - Black would be ideal, but I'd rather not pay that much money if I can avoid it!

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks lots

Does it have to be on the internet?
I buy most my shoes at Shoe Zone, and am sure I have seen similar shoes for under £20.

Ooh! No...it doesn't have to be the web. I just thought I'd start my hunt there. Shoe Zone...good tip, thank you.

I got some black lace up shoes off ebay for about £10.
I'm a student nurse so had to have black lace ups and found them really comfy as I am on my feet all day!

go on pricelessshoes.com the shoes on there are a bargain! Not the best quality, but having said that I bought a pair of boots for 17.99 from there and they have lasted me two winters of trudging to uni!

try ebay for some 2nd hand docs? i have got some pretty cheap from there before, with the added bonus they are already broken in so the leather isn't rock solid and so no blisters yay!

i do heart docs i have a baby pink patent pair they are AMAZING!

even if you get them in a random colour, prob cheaper than buying black ones i would guess, and then dye them pretty sure they make leather dye nowadays
